Stringo is in an intensive phase of development and is investing considerable resources in reviewing its entire quality chain. Stringo have always prioritized high quality. That is why we are pleased to introduce our new purchaser Jonas Norberg, who was recruited to further strengthen our quality work.
Jonas comes from Sweden’s world heritage ‘High Coast’ area. He has lived in various places in Sweden and Europe. But for the past seven years, he has once again been back in his hometown of Örnsköldsvik.
Since June this year he has been dividing his time between Stringo’s head office in Nyland and the office in Örnsköldsvik.
He most recently spent a number of years as a purchaser for the one of the world's largest contract manufacturers within EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services).
“It was absolutely the right time for Stringo to get in touch with me when they did,” he says. “I felt ready to move on. Here I get the chance to work even more strategically with agreements, new materials and logistics, and to find solutions that benefit both us and our suppliers. I really like that.”
To begin with, Jonas familiarized himself with the production of Stringo vehicle movers and initiated a review of the current quality chain.
Communication is one of Jonas’ strengths and further developing communication with Stringo’s suppliers is something that Jonas intends to prioritize, as well as dialogue with engineering and production in-house.
“I want to bring in information from the players involved in the production chain,” says Jonas. “I will collect information and then sort out what is required to create a good, workable strategy that provides a good material flow and continued high product quality.”
Jonas spends much of his free time on hockey, both as a player for Järveds IF and as president of the Ulvö Hockey Association, which he was involved in starting five years ago. When it comes to working life, he is very pleased to become a part of the Stringo team.
“It feels very good,” he says. “There is a fantastic atmosphere in the workplace and it is inspiring to join a committed company that already produces good quality and is doing all it can to create the conditions for further improvements.”
